Meet the Designer
My design process has been influenced by my studies of visual arts. My goal is to create garments that work harmoniously with the body. I am intentional about creating lines that guide the eye through a garment, using positive and negative space to my advantage. Aside from the artistry, I have always found the psychological components of fashion from the consumer standpoint very compelling. Our fashion choices are not inconsequential, and I believe that fashion should be approached in a way that is meaningful to the individual. Abstract art theory takes the position that art should depict the feeling and emotion of the artist in a precise moment in time, and as a designer, I want to adopt this concept to the fashion process by creating pieces that are bold, unique, and emotive, with personalities of their own that will allow women to feel like the best version of themselves.
