← Critic Award Winners: James Thomas
British-born designer, illustrator, and artist James Thomas began his career in the fashion houses of London, Paris, and New York City after graduating from the Royal College of Art in London.
He moved to the U.S. to design for the Calvin Klein women’s collection and subsequently went on to work as creative director within fashion brands. James expanded his expressive modern sensibility to art and illustration, and his trademark cut paper works have been published in books, magazines, and exhibitions.
