Intimate Apparel
This thesis collection is inspired by modern women who reinterpret traditional marriage. Marriage is being transformed from traditional patriarchal roles, heteronormativity, and classism. The woman wearing this lingerie sees marriage for herself, understands history yet craves equality in her relationship.

Meet the Designer
As a child, I always knew I wanted to be a fashion designer, taking whatever fine art and sewing classes were available to me. Moving to NYC from a small town in North Carolina was a foreboding but important decision, this decision helped to immerse me in modern design. Throughout my studies at FIT, I realized what I was deeply passionate about and everything pointed me in the direction of intimate apparel. When deciding to specialize in lingerie, I knew it was important to make pieces that would feel welcoming and attainable to the average woman. A lot of lingerie on the market can feel very intimidating, and only accessible to a certain persona- something that greatly bothered me as a consumer. In my work, I strive to create feminine, confident, and modern silhouettes, characterized by unique laces and my obsession with beadwork and fine details.
