Inspired by my upbringing in the Jewish Orthodox community and the dichotomy I found in the ideals placed on women, I design to add to the questions and the reckoning in society regarding the empowerment of women everywhere, every day.  With a nod toward traditional modesty, my aesthetic in design merges traditional menswear and womenswear silhouettes and textiles with sustainable thinking, often by using scraps of fabrics and leather. This adds to the conversation and questions about what exactly is modesty, and what is a modest woman.
