Meet the Designer

My interest in fashion started at a very early age with my dress-up box. Anything sparkly and pink topped with a crown was how I expressed myself. Fashion for me was, and is, first and foremost play and fun and an expression of happiness. I received my first sewing kit at age eight. At twelve, I had my first dress form. I was enamored with the idea of creating. Over the years, I drew and sewed as I struggled to find interest in my high school’s curriculum. During high school, I sought out local community college fashion illustration classes. What started out as fun and play, soon became my passion and raison d’être. I love to create simple designs that use elegant fabrics that a woman wants to have in her closet. Design satisfies my creative drive to make something new and beautiful, and yes, also fun.
