Growing up in the rich culture of India, I have always treasured traditional wear, including saris and lehengas, worn during Indian weddings and festivals. Having an emotional connection with fashion and the bridal industry, I studied at the London College of Fashion where I found inspiration that resonated deeply with evening wear from western cultures. For me, being a fashion designer means creating this amalgamation of two cultures that I adore, and fabricating delicate, hand-embellished, and beaded clothing lines for special occasions. FIT has supported me in finding and molding my designer aesthetics to achieve that sense of creativity.
