Sportswear

Concept derives from past traumas regarding my father’s health and struggles with diabetes, along with the physical repercussions it had on his mental health.

The dress is made of wool suiting. The strips of fabric are grey and navy pinstriped wool suiting, printed wool suiting and felted organza/tulle.

Textiles include organza, felted yarns, and black tulle to create red strips of fabric resembling blood. The red “X” tacks are hand sewn with embroidery floss.

The back detail is a digital print of the x-ray of father’s foot that was affected by his disease.

Cut-outs on armhole seams with raw edges.
Meet the Designer

Growing up in a family with an artistic background made me appreciate the aesthetics and appearance of things from a very young age. As a result, after high school I attended architecture school in Iran for four years. During that time, I was constantly following the fashion industry. My love for fashion was growing and I realized I was having a change of heart and the aspiration of being a fashion designer was developing. I moved to New York to pursue my dream of fashion and create modern/elevated streetwear with my own stories behind it.
